Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

Applicants must meet criteria to be certified for sheltered employment through the Missouri Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.

Applicants must be able to take care of their personal needs or make prior arrangements for care. Arrangements must be acceptable to all parties. Personal care needs include, but are not limited to medication administration, toileting, personal hygiene, and eating/drinking.

Applicants must demonstrate productive work capacity. Such capacity is defined as the ability to work at a production rate that equals at least 10% of minimum wage.

Applicants must conduct themselves in a manner that contributes to the work environment and does not disrupt the work routine of others.

Applicants must have prearranged transportation to and from work.

Applicants must fully participate in the intake process, including an interview and workshop tour.

Priority is given to Jackson County residents who have a developmental disability and are seeking full-time employment.
